Bruce Boudreau’s wife, Crystal Boudreau, is a baker. Crystal was born on December 28, 1979, into a family of bakers.

This afternoon in Burnaby, Boudreau told reporters, “My wife gave me nonsense about that last night.” He imitated the love of his life, saying, “I never want to see you on TV without shaving.”

“She’s going to be upset with me once more,” he added. 

Ben Boudreau, the eldest son of Bruce, is an assistant coach at Norfolk Admirals. Initially, he played in seven leagues throughout his career, as reported by hockeydb.com.

According to his LinkedIn profile, he is the co-owner and operator of the Golden Horseshoe hockey school. In addition, Ben worked as the assistant Coach at Bakersfield CondorsBakersfield from September 2014 to May 2016.

Moreover, he has also held the position of assistant head coach at Pursuit of excellence hockey academy.

Boudreau, 38, led the Komet to a Kelly Cup victory in 2020–2021 and entered his fourth season in that position with a record of 100–65–15–5.

The product of St. Catharines, Ontario, spent two seasons as a Komets assistant coach before being appointed the 29th head coach in Komet history in 2019. The Boudreau family, including Bruce, became the second father-son coaching duo to lead the Komets after Ken and Ron Ullyot.

Boudreau started his coaching career as an assistant coach with Bakersfield in 2014-15 in the ECHL. Before moving to Fort Wayne in 2017, he also served as an assistant coach with the Norfolk Admirals for two seasons.

Ben initially visited the camp in 1989 when he was five years old and has since participated in everyone in some way. He ensures lunch is delivered while he isn’t coaching on the rink.

Andy Boudreau, the second son of Bruce, is a hockey coach. He was born on March 23, 1987, in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada. 

The son of Bruce Boudreau must have had an excellent aptitude for athletics growing up in a sporting family. Additionally, since his father is a coach, he must have had training from Bruce, which must have helped him learn various methods and talents.

Andy played hockey while a student at Brock University. He represented the Mississippi Surge of the Southern Professional Hockey League from 2009–2010.

The athlete participated in 24 of the 28 regular season games while a freshman in college in the 2010–11 season. Along with three goals, five assists, and eight total points, he also accrued 12 minutes of penalty time.

Junior Boudreau scored his first Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS) point and added a single assist against the Carleton Ravens in his debut game with the team.

He had his first career goal versus the York Lions. After the 2011-12 season, he seems to have yet to play any games. He also graduated from Brock with a Kinesiology degree.

Andy has carried on his father’s legacy. He switched to coaching after a brief playing career. In addition, he oversees training at AB Hockey Training.

The Brock University graduate served as a strength coach for the Brock Women’s hockey team during the 2015–16 campaign. Then he was employed by Banff Hockey Academy as a player development coach to assist in managing their strength program.

The young son of Bruce Boudreau devotes time to instructing skating and other skills to people of all ages and abilities in the Bow Valley of Alberta. He is also in charge of running the Golden Horseshoe Hockey School. He has also had experience teaching in sports camps.

Brady Boudreau is the youngest son of Bruce and Crystal. He was born on July 07, 1998, in Anaheim, California, USA. 

According to the Athletic, Brady suffered from Asperger’s and found out later in his childhood.

Growing up, Brady Boudreau knew something about him seemed a little “odd.” He is undoubtedly a social outcast who is prone to irritation. But on the other hand, he is self-reliant, very intellectual, good at remembering things when he reads or watches TV, a little obsessive-compulsive, and prone to anxiety attacks.

Brady recalls watching a TV show one day, maybe ten or eleven years ago, that included a character with Asperger syndrome. The symptoms the character was describing sounded familiar.

At the age of 14, after undergoing a battery of testing, he was, in fact, given the diagnosis of Asperger’s, a high-functioning type of autism.

The diagnosis made it easier for his father, in particular, to understand him. The revelation of the illness was also a turning point for his mother, who has been with Bruce for 28 years since he was a player-coach for the Fort Wayne Komets.

When Brady was diagnosed ten years ago, Crystal, then 42, also completed the exam and learned she had Asperger’s but was never labeled. Crystal scored about 78 on the scale, and Brady received a 95 out of 100.

In addition to taking daily anxiety medication, Brady can engage in awareness activities when he is “difficult.”

Brady Is Excelling In Life

Brady has maintained an excellent academic record throughout. Brady, the youngest of Bruce’s four kids, finished high school in California at 16.

He graduated from Phoenix, Arizona’s Grand Canyon University, with a bachelor’s degree in sports management when he was just 19 years old.

In 2018, he was pursuing a master’s degree focusing on sports business management. Brady had taken online courses year-round, seven days a week, since graduating from Orange Lutheran High School in 2015, except for the ten days per year when the school is closed for the holidays.

Kasey Boudreau is an Assistant Production Coordinator based in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.

She is the only daughter of Bruce and has three brothers. According to her LinkedIn profile, Kasey is the Co-Owner of Vintage Hideaway. Moreover, she is also a social media specialist at Kasey Boudreau and has been working as the Assistant Production Coordinator at 1Department Entertainment Services.

She has other experiences, such as handling the executive position at Cellar 82 Inc and working as a Patient Registration Clerk at Kemptville District Hospital.

The daughter of Bruce studied at Algonquin College. She earned a degree in Applied Communication, Public Relations, and Advertising in 2008.

Boudreau worked for Capital Sports Management as the tournament coordinator and for Macera & Jarzyna LLP as the senior partner’s administrative assistant. She also worked for United Way Ottawa before moving on to Capital Angel Network, Christie Lake Kids, and Tre Amici Wines.
